—I am of lanterns,
but who is (dark arm, archangel)
lighting them, which ones mean
what (enduring thing) – sometimes sky is such
a blue glow, my leaves weep
for the holding (impossible endings). my lanterns are
all soft-tipped diamonds with yellow
hearts. I am (above as below)
not sure what kind
of tree I am, or where
I stand (in world or dream) only
that it is forever dusk
here, or is it twilight (undying) who keeps
my lights in radiance soft but urgent, in
the center of worlds
promising—
